Whangarei

Whangarei - Rugby World Cup 2011

Draped by Mount Parahaki, Whangarei is a small town set on a beautiful, deep water harbour. The popular Town Basin Marina is home to restaurants, art galleries, and the kooky Claphams Clock Museum, the largest collection of clocks in the southern hemisphere. Just 5 kms out of town are the spectacular Whangarei Falls, one of the most famous waterfalls in New Zealand.
